Commercial Affairs Manager

Department: Business Development

Qualification: Bachelor Degree

Job Description:

JobPurpose:

Toprovide a commercial evaluation of the material and/or energy recovery projectsready to be deployed and identify investment opportunities and funding sourceswhilst building strong partnerships and working relationships with stakeholdersto support project deployment and execution

KeyAccountabilities and Responsibilities:

To lead the development and implementation oftools and instruments to support Be’ah in automation of material recoveryrelated processes and transactions for driving efficiencies.

Identify key stakeholders within the governmentsector to streamline and support the development of recycling market andenhance their contribution to Oman’s economy

Identify, build and manage strong workingrelationships with private sector stakeholders including SMEs and otherrecycling businesses through commercial engagement and participation ensuringalignment with Be’ah’s strategy

Lead the development and implementation ofprograms and campaigns to support the private sector Organisations in enhancingtheir roles with regards to waste management in line with Be’ah’s strategy

Provide market intelligence insights to supportmaterial and energy recovery teams in delivering their respective projectactivities 

Provide rationalized commercial analysis andassessment to support management in making investment decisions in wastemanagement projects

Perform second-stage commercial review asrequested by the management for both material and energy recovery tendersrelated to waste management aspects at the pre and post tender stage

Lead the planning and coordination for successfulexecution of projects related to automation of processes and transactions todrive efficiencies in dealing with related 3rd parties 

Maintain oversight of the current Private SectorInterface (PSI) to ensure it operates in an efficient manner and any areasrequiring enhancement are effectively addressed

Coach, mentor, and train the team members toensure technical knowledge transfer related to material recovery and streamdevelopment function

Set and agree on performance objectives for alldirect reports and provide coaching and feedback to teams/individuals in linewith good people management practices to ensure job responsibilities areoptimally delivered 

Adhere to all relevant quality, health, safety,and environmental procedures, instructions, controls and role specific QHSEKPIs in order to guarantee the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance

Technical & Administration Support Executive

Job Description:

JobPurpose:

·        Responsible for all sector’s technical andadministrative requirements including ERP management, data entry, coordination,communication, technical business operational documentation and reportingwithin the Sector

·        Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

·        Apply all internal procedures, rules,regulations and policies in maintaining and processing information

·        Develop data management profile, filing andarchiving system for the sector which aim to allow direct and easy access toall sector data and information in secure and safely manner.

·        Maintain and control data and filing systemsto ensure effective, accurate and easily retrievable documentation of allsector operations, program and projects activities.

·        Manage sector ERP system in terms of dataentry and follow up with all system work flows.

·        Establish tracking and monitoring systems andconduct follow up to ensure effective resolution of matters.

·        To provide administrative support to thedepartment and staff with the sector.

·        Coordinate daily department and acrosssectors activities and administrative requirements to achieve establishedgoals.

·        Maintain and monitor the sectorcalendar/timeline to support on-time delivery of requirements 

·        Serve as a liaison with externalstakeholders, service providers, operators, contractors, venders etc.

·        Prepare meeting agenda, correspondence,documents and schedule sector and departmental meetings and distribute minutesas required

·        Assures effective coordination of allfunctions with the sector and organize related events and activities.

·        Responsible for recording, maintaining andsafeguarding all sector and department documentation and information

·        Assist sector and department heads inpreparing and maintaining meeting materials, business presentations, and otherdepartment files/documentation.

·        Provide general administrative and clericalsupport as and when required
